Rolled Steel Slitting Units 0,3-6,0 x 1600mm

We produce high quality, efficient, universal cutting machines of any configuration and performance, according to the customer's request.

Based on our experience in production and supply of this sort of equipment, we offer two basic models of metal cutting lines for metalworkers and manufacturers of electric-welded pipes, fully ensuring the production of any pipe with a diameter of pipes from 10 mm to 630 mm and a wall thickness of 0.5 to 12 7 mm:
 

 

Slitting unit works with steel coils with steel thickness from 0.5 to 6.0 mm. Coil width up to 1600 mm. This unit is guaranteed to confidently cut 09GS steel of all mentioned thicknesses. With fine-tuning of the unit, you can cut steel with a thickness of 0.3 mm or less. Working cutting speed up to 90 m/min. If customer requiers more performance, then, by increasing the power of the drives, we can increase the speed up to 120 m/min and higher. This unit covers all sizes of strips for the production of electric-welded pipes of any metal (including titanium) with a diameter of 10 to 159 mm.

1. Description
Steel coil slitting unit works with the coil of width from 600 mm up to 1600 mm,  thickness from 0.5 mm up to 6.0 mm; Working speed of slitting is 45 ~ 90 m / min.
A workflow consists of a coil openning, parings of the edge, straightening,slitting, packaging and weighing.

7. Description of the main components
1. Loading cart: 
V-shaped welded construction, four-wheeled movable platform which is used for the delivery and installation of coils onto the uncoiler shaft, hydraulic cylinder is used for lifting, moving the platform is carried out on rails by the drive.
Travel speed: 5m/min
Motor: Geared motor.
Motor power: AC2.2KW
Lifting up: hydraulic cylinder controlled by electromagnetic valves.
2.   Uncoiler: 
It is intended to support and unwind the coil in the unit. Single work position uncoiler, driven by the electric motor via toothed pair. Expansion of the drum is achieved with the hydraulic cylinder controlled by electromagnetc valves. Shaft of the uncoiler is also equipped with a mechanical brake.
      Drum expansion/compression: 470 mm ~ 520 mm

      Tension: hydraulic frame and the tension control device. Operated by the hydraulic

3. Feeding device:  
Intended to open coils and feed the strip into a feeding/straightening stand. Consists of 
a pinch roller and a movable table.
Pinch roller: moved by the hydraulic cylinder with electromagnetic valves.
Picnh roller drive: chain drive motor.
Lifting and lowering the table: a hydraulic cylinder with electromagnetic valves.   

4. Feeding/straightening stand:
     Used for feeding and straightening of the strip.
2 feeding pinch rolls, 5 straightening rolls (2 top 3 bottom).

8. Edge winders
         Used for winding edges that trimmed off by circular blades.

9. Loop pit.
         Used to create a reserve of the strip between the circular blades and precise  
         straightening stand.
         Lifting tables: hydraulic cylinder contolled by electromagnetic valves.
10. Tensioning device:
Serves to create tension for winding strips into coils. The tension is created by the hydraulic cylinder and a plate,operated by electromagnetic valve.
Separating plugs vary the width of the strip being cut.
Clamp: hydraulic cylinder, electromagnetic valve.

11. Coiler
Coiler is used for winding the finished strips into coils.
4-segment drum,drum expansion / compression achieved by the hydraulic cylinder, controlled by electromagnetic valve.
Drum shaft is driven by an AC motor, gear drive.
Pushing plate is driven by a hydraulic cylinder controlled by a electromagnetic valve
End support is driven by a hydraulic cylinder controlled by a electromagnetic valve.
Separating pressure rolls are moving by hydraulic cylinder controlled by a electromagnetic valve.
Shaft of the drum equiped with the clamp for strip tails.
One end of the shaft is fixed inside the frame, the arm portion holds the rolls of the strips, while pushing the material the raising platform of unloading cart is raised, pitch shaft is raised and the clamps are unclenched, the drum is compressed, the movable end support drops, face plate and unloading carriage are moving towards each other.
The movable support has a separate support frame, a link mechanism is lifted by the hydraulic cylinder.

Serves to wind narrow strips into coils. Single working position winder. The drum is mounted on a gear box. The drum is driven by a DC gear motor. The main shaft is equipped with electro-hydraulic brake. On the set of gear box there is a device installed that serves as an auxiliary unit unloading the carriage.

12. Unloading cart:
Used for unloading coils from the coiler.
Unloading truck have welded construction, 4-wheels, V-shaped  lifting platform that lifts up by hydraulics and guides. Drive motor and hydraulic valves are mounted on a bracket. - The cart moves on rails.
Design: Driven by an electric motor, hydraulic cylinder lifts lifting platform.
Travel speed: 5m/min

Lifting of the carriage: hydraulic cylinder, electromagnetic valve.

13. Control system:
Needed for line automation, motor control, speed, and other processes of the unit. Consists of cabinets and control panels, main board, PLC, various sensors and electrical components.

For transportation 3-4 40-foot containers are needed.
Assembly on a separate contract.
